Mark Morgan is a lifelong resident of Danville. He graduated from Danville High School and Hanover College. Upon graduation from college, Mark started working for the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department as a Jail Officer. Mark later transferred to the Uniformed Patrol Division where he achieved the position of Division Commander with the rank of Captain. While working for the Sheriff’s Department, Mark was also a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Danville. There, he worked his way up to the position of Fire Chief. In 2005, Mark retired from the Sheriff’s Department and became Danville’s first full-time Fire Chief. In April of 2019, Mark retired from the Fire Department and took the job as Danville Town Manager.
